Ulysses culture
At Ulysse Academy, our development culture is based on science, experience, and a constant focus on the student-athlete. Whether in the classroom, on the ice, or in training, every detail counts. We aim to develop responsible citizens who are engaged in their communities and ready to face life's challenges.
The Ulysses model is:
– A work ethic valued on a daily basis
– The development of confidence, leadership and competitive spirit
– Rigorous teaching of technical fundamentals, on and off the ice
– Promoting critical thinking, self-assessment and creativity
– The use of scientific data and technologies to optimize development
Specific objectives
The student-athletes on our U18 team actively pursue their academic and athletic goals. Supervised by a team of committed coaches, they develop their individual and team skills while acquiring success-oriented habits, good time management skills, and solid physical preparation. Focused on progression toward post-secondary education, the U18 team participates in visibility tournaments and university campus visits. Coaches also integrate video analysis and technology to optimize development. In training, the U18s follow the same structured plan as our U19 AAA team.
