Originally from Thetford Mines, François Marcoux is the youngest of six children. The son of a miner and a nurse, he grew up in an environment where education and sports were central. A graduate in mechanical engineering, he worked for over 20 years at SNC and Bell Helicopters. In 2006, after analyzing the sports-study situation in Quebec, he launched a pilot project in a high school, giving rise to the Ulysse program. From 2006 to 2015, he devoted himself entirely to this project, offering young people the opportunity to combine their studies and high-performance sports.

A specialized educator for over 20 years, Marie-Claude Baril worked with troubled youth at Montreal Youth Centers before joining Odyssée High School in 2000. In 2009, she implemented the academic monitoring protocol for the Ulysse program. Since then, she has ensured that each student-athlete meets the program's academic and behavioral requirements, providing rigorous and caring support.

A graduate of the Université de Montréal and co-founder of the Gravi-T center, Maryse Allard is a specialist in the development of emerging athletes. She designs assessment protocols tailored to hockey players and has worked for several years as a lecturer at the Université de Montréal kinesiology clinic. A collaborator with Ulysse Académie, she puts her expertise to work in training, rehabilitation, and self-improvement.
